Who We Are

We are a local bakery based just outside of Red Deer. We specialise in quality Artisan Sourdough and handcrafted home baking— crafted with only the finest, simple ingredients. This means NO additives, NO shortcuts, and guaranteed authentic flavour.

We work out of a home-based kitchen following AHS low-risk food safety rules. Bread and other products are available at our farmstand. Check out our instagram for stock updates. Pre-order online to gaurantee the freshest local bread made right here in the Spruce View area.

After you order homemade bread online or any of our homemade baked goods, your exact pickup address in Red Deer County will be clearly provided in your order confirmation email. We've streamlined our process to make sure your local bakery experience is efficient and clear, so you can easily find us between Eckville and Spruce View for your fresh, made-to-order items.

Are your products made from scratch?

Absolutely! We're a dedicated micro bakery serving the Red Deer County area. At Sunflour Bakehouse, all our baking is truly homemade from scratch, including our sourdough loaves. The sourdough process starts with our own slow-fermented starter. We believe in bread made simple, using fundamental ingredients and traditional methods, ensuring that every item—from our white wheat bread to our cookies—delivers authentic, flavor without shortcuts or pre-mixes.

What are your pickup days and hours?

The farmstand re-stocks based on our lives and personal calendars. We will post on our Instagram and Facebook accounts when we restock. Our Typical restock windows are as follows.

  • Fridays: 3:00 PM - 4:00PM

  • Saturdays: 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM
